Case Study - S.C.A.R Serious Criminal Arson Reduction

Fire Service to assist a group of young people who have branded
The group have been working with Born
Communication to develop a range of marketing material aimed at
reducing local arson attacks. The group identified two target
audiences: primary school children (as a preventative measure) and
teenagers, especially males, who they identified as the core group
involved in local arson attacks.
Through creative workshops the
young people have been developing child friendly characters for the
younger target audience and a campaign using evocative impactful images for the
The professional material produced as a result
of this project are currently receiving national interest from the Fire
Service and talks are developing to allow the group to continue as an
advisory group who can assist the Fire Service in producing a national
marketing campaign aimed at reducing arson attacks.
